Republic, Washington a small but busy rural community located in Northeastern Washington. Nestled between the Kettle Range, the foothills of the Rockies, and the Okanogan Highlands. Drive Scenic Highway 20, Washington's highest pass that is open year round. Republic is the only incorporated city in Ferry County and the County Seat. We boast no stoplights in the whole 2200 square mile county. A melting pot of loggers, gold miners, farmers and ranchers, back- to-the-landers, artists, and retirees, there's a strong sense of community. We have good restaurants, a sensational Brewing Company, a beautiful art gallery, and 26 miles of Rail Trail to enjoy. Hunting and Fishing opportunities are plentiful. Birding, wildlife viewing, boating, hiking, skiing, biking, and fossil digging are a part of everyday life. If you have the time, there are a multitude of volunteer possibilities. It's a great place to live!
